Welcome!

Hello! My name is Shiv. I am a high schooler living in Pennsylvania. My love for robotics sparked this project, which I have named Roboreach India, to make a change in the world. My goal with this project is to bring my passion of robotics to these children’s lives, and to give them a helping hand into their future! In December 2023, I will be traveling to India to pursue this project. I will teach underprivileged kids in slum areas of Ahmedabad, Gujarat. This will be an ongoing project, and as well as raising money for robotic kits and iPads, I also want to hire a teacher to continue teaching, even when I won't be there.

The map shown here depicts 6 centers that I will travel to in Ahmedabad. These centers are run by an organization called Manav Sadhna, which I have proudly partnered with to achieve this project. My goal is to travel to all 6 centers, spending 6 hours at each one daily, to teach the students of these Ashrams. From this, my long term goals is to create First Lego League teams, teams that can compete, (creating, thinking and teamwork involving lego movement parts) and successfully enter them into competitions in the area. This will propel and create expansive opportunities for the children in this organization, and with your support, I plan on reaching this goal.
